Around 3:35 PM on Friday, February 6, along Nagasaka, Oaza Nagasaka, in Songo Village, on a village road, an eyewitness reported seeing two bears on the road while driving a vehicle: one about 1.5 meters in length and the other about 1 meter.

Around the afternoon of the 27th, a single bear approximately 0.5 m in length was sighted in a parking lot in Usuba, Shirakawa City, Fukushima Prefecture; it later left for the forest. No damage to people or property was confirmed, and police are conducting patrols and public notices near the site.
