At a garbage collection point in Ishikawa Prefecture at night, a passerby initially suspected a bear but heard a distressed elderly woman's cry for help. The woman had been trapped inside for about 30 minutes after a wind-blown door shut and could not open it from the inside; a local organization worker passing by on a bicycle found and rescued her and took her to Terai-yu bathhouse.
