While driving a vehicle, the observer sighted one bear (approximately 1.5 m in body length) proceeding southeast inside the tunnel. After exiting the tunnel, the bear proceeded northeast.

According to Kōriyama City, a bear appeared in Horinochi Morikodan, Kikuda-machi, Kōriyama City at around 18:34 on November 21, 2025. A prior sighting was reported on November 20 at 08:06 in Tsutsumi 3-chome; both sightings occurred in residential areas lacking rivers or green spaces.
