Biwa Hoikuen

At around 18:10 on November 13, 2025, a resident in Minamihama-cho, Nagahama City reported a bear in the yard and evacuated to the second floor, calling the police. The bear, estimated at 100–150 cm in length, was seen standing with a paw on a window; there were no injuries and the police did not find the bear about 20 minutes after the report.
