Around 16:40 on the 4th, a woman in her 40s from Katagami City saw a bear about 1 meter long crossing a municipal road in Tennō Oiwake-nishi. The bear was about 5 meters from a private house; multiple sightings were reported in the area and the Gojōme police station has urged residents to be cautious.

[Post] Found footprints on the snow. There were both large and small footprints, believed to be a mother and cub. Early in the morning, after foraging among the crops in the field, it climbed over the wall and headed east.
