Around 15:00 on November 8, 2025, a bear approximately 1.5 m long was sighted inside Azuma General Sports Park in Fukushima City. A man in his 80s found it in the woods east of the baseball field; its whereabouts are unknown and authorities remain on alert.

A bear about 1.5 m long was sighted by a hiker near Azuma Kotofuji at around 6:30 AM on the 10th, and a bear about 1 m long was also observed near a hotel multilevel parking structure in Fukushima City.
