I saw the head of the bear at 4m from the path. He didn't move and I was afraid so i left without taking picture. I had the bell but he seem to sleep. There was a fence between the path and the bear.

Around 11:15 a.m. on the 11th, a single bear was seen by a tourist crossing a prefectural road about 100 m south of the prefectural parking lot near the Shosenkyo Green Line in Kamionatana-cho, Kofu City, then heading into the western forest. The bear's body length is unknown; walking paths are not scheduled to be closed, but the tourism association is warning visitors via its website and posters.
