Around 2:30 PM on October 21, on National Route 459 in Kibara, the witness driving observed a bear about 1 m crossing the road from north to south. The bear then moved into the shrubs to the south.

Around 5:10 PM on October 20, in Kitashiobara Village, in the Ohshio area, the witness at home saw a bear in the yard; the bear’s length is unknown. The bear then left toward the east.
