Around 18:50 on the 10th, a woman driving on a municipal road in Higashikatami, Shirakawa City, Fukushima, spotted one bear (about 50 cm in length) coming down an embankment by the roadside. Because it was dark, the bear was no longer visible afterward; no damage has been reported and police are patrolling the area and warning residents.
