When I opened the door to go outside, there was a bear very close. I hurried back inside and didn't see which direction it went. Town staff checked the scene and found footprints from the eastern hillside through the residential grounds toward the northwest mountains. Length about 1 m.

While driving, sighted a moon bear (Asian black bear). When illuminated by the headlights, it fled toward the mountains. Length about 1.3 m. About 100 m to the nearest house.

[Post] The sound of a shed door being broken was heard. A bear was wandering outside the house entrance (about 3–5 m away). After a while it left the premises. Apples stored in the shed were eaten. The shed door had been damaged and apples eaten the day before; the door was just repaired. Length about 1.3 m.
