Around 19:00 on November 25, a bear was reported sighted in the Ohara district (near Shiokaze Nursery) of Onagawa Town, Miyagi Prefecture, and the town posted a warning on official social media. The image attached to the post was later found to be AI-generated fake; it was viewed about 4.5 million times and the town corrected the post and removed the image by November 27.
