At around 10:10 a.m. on November 14, a school staff member at Nishimyoji Junior High School in Semboku saw one bear walking in a drainage channel at Kamaarai, Kamihashimoto. The bear was about 50 cm long and about 30 meters from the school building; the Semboku Police Department has warned residents to be cautious.
