On October 10 a bear-like animal (Asian black bear) was sighted in Kamo-cho Sato (near the Sato district community center) and Kamo-cho Okazaki (northeast of the north end of Kuni Bridge) in Kizugawa City. The town is urging measures to prevent bear attraction, such as not dumping food scraps and managing fruit trees.
