[Report] While driving, I witnessed one cub (about 50 cm in length) sprinting up the west-side stairs of Iijima Elementary School grounds. I could not confirm any adult bear, but it may have been with the cub.

While driving on the prefectural road from Akita toward Katagami, I saw one bear crossing the road from east to west. It continued westward and left. Body length 1.0 m. 450 m from Akita Smelting Plant.
