Around 10:00 on December 21, one bear was sighted near Kushibiki Aza Tateba in Hachinohe (about 400 m southwest of Ichinichiichi Nursery School, near the Aomori Railway crossing). There were no injuries or damage. The city has urged local residents to be cautious.
