The witness immediately left the scene, and the bear’s subsequent whereabouts are unknown.

At around 16:20 on March 21, a single bear about 1 meter long was sighted at the entrance of a slide in Chieko-no-Mori Park, Yui Koshinyama, Nihonmatsu.
