On Saturday, March 21 at around 4:20 p.m., in Chieko no Mori Park within the Koshin-yama area of Yui, Nihonmatsu City, a witness (male in his 40s) spotted one bear (approximately 1 m in body length) at the mouth of a slide in the park while walking. The witness immediately left the scene, and the bear’s subsequent whereabouts are unknown.

At around 16:20 on March 21, a single bear about 1 meter long was sighted at the entrance of a slide in Chieko-no-Mori Park, Yui Koshinyama, Nihonmatsu. A man who saw the bear reported it to the Nihonmatsu police; there were no injuries or property damage, and the police notified the city and conducted patrol warnings.
