While driving, when I looked at the side mirror, a black animal about 1 meter long ran away on four legs from the right to the left! I’m not sure if it was a bear.

A meter long moving that fast across a road in Aioi Chihirocho makes sense if it was a young one, but the uncertainty from a side mirror glance is fair enough.
