Riding motorcycle to Mt. Yubari trailhead. About 500 m before trailhead, I came around a corner and saw a bear on the road at a distance of approximately 100 m, walking towards me. I stopped, turned around, and saw that it was still steadily walking towards me. Distance was now 75 m, and I beat a hasty retreat. No time for photo!
