7:00 — One bear — Along National Route 452 in Nakano-oka Town, near Ryokusen Ohashi Bridge. The bear moved from the river side toward the mountain and disappeared. Will post on the website, send disaster-prevention emails, and install signage.

14:30 - On Route 4 Koganecho (Asahikawa–Ashibetsu Line), about 200 m from the Futamata entrance toward Ashibetsu: one bear. It moved from the mountain side toward the river side and disappeared. Will be posted on the website, sent via disaster-prevention email, and a sign will be installed.

After descending Mount Moiwa and heading toward Yamanohana between the 6th and 5th stations, a black cub about 50 cm long was hiding in the sasa grass. The black fur on its ears was fluffy. The bear stayed still. I was too scared to take a photo at the time—seriously. But thinking back now, I found the fluffiness kind of cute.
