Around 1:33 AM on October 11, on a road in Kitakata City, Koshakami area, a witness viewing live security camera footage observed a bear about 1.5 m moving south on the west side of the road. A police officer at the scene also observed another bear about 50 cm on the south side of a private residence. The two bears joined, but their whereabouts afterward are unknown.
