On Thursday, May 28 at approximately 5:15 p.m., in Dangoishi, Itosawa, Minamiaizu Town, a witness (woman in her 60s) traveling by vehicle observed one bear (about 1 m in body length) wandering in the roadside brush. The bear's subsequent whereabouts are unknown.
