At around 00:20 on November 19, a driver spotted a roughly 1-meter-long bear on the road on Den'en Bridge in Daikugawa 2-chome, Hokuto City, and called the police. The bear moved into brush northwest of the bridge, there was no collision or injury, and police found footprints in the snow and stepped up vigilance in cooperation with the city.
