Nishikawa Shuukaijo

At around 13:30 on December 17, 2025, a man passing by in a car spotted a bear on the prefectural road along the left bank of the Tenryu River in Tokura, Ryuyama-chō, Tenryu Ward, Hamamatsu. The bear noticed the car and fled into the mountains; the area within about 1 km includes the Tokai Nature Trail and municipal housing, so the city has issued a safety advisory.
