Shortly after 21:30 on November 13, a camera recorded a single bear in an apple orchard in Tonoshiro, Ueda City, skillfully taking and eating 'Sun Fuji' apples from the tree. About 2 tons of apples have been destroyed so far, with estimated damages around ¥2 million, and the bear has been appearing almost nightly from about 21:00 to 05:00.
