On Tuesday, June 23 at around 9:10 a.m., on National Route 289 in Numata-hara, Tadami, Tadami Town, a witness (male in his 70s) driving south observed one bear (approximately 50 cm in body length) crossing the road from east to west. The bear entered the forested area on the west side and its subsequent whereabouts are unknown.
