I Higashi Hoikuen

Around 09:30 on December 2, a resident in Kamiitohigashi, Higashiizumo-cho, Matsue City, saw an adult Asian black bear about 1 meter in size on the hillside through a window. At about 11:30, hunting association members and city/prefectural staff found bear-like footprints nearby and police patrolled the area, but the bear's subsequent whereabouts are unknown.
