At around 18:15 on the 15th, a bear-like animal about 1.2 meters long was seen crossing Prefectural Route 41 in Kumai, Hatoyama Town, observed from inside a car. Saitama Prefectural Police warned people to be cautious when going out and advised on how to respond if a bear is spotted.

Around 23:35 on 2025-11-08, a bear was sighted in Kuroiwa, Ogose Town. The town urged people to be cautious, to leave the area calmly if they notice a bear, and to contact the Ogose Town Office or the Nishi-Irima Police Station.
