Around 18:00 on March 9, 2026, an animal believed to be an Asian black bear (tsukinowaguma) was sighted at the northwest area of Ikoi-no-Mori Park in Hachimancho, Ashikaga City. The location is in an urban area east of Yashu-Yamanobe Station on the Tobu Isesaki Line, near Yaoko Ashikaga Hachiman and Gyomu Super Hachiman stores.
