Kasuga 2 Choume Kouen

On 2025-11-27 at around 17:30, a man cycling near residences in Shimizu-cho 2-chome, Tomakomai, spotted one bear about 1 m in length at a distance of roughly 2 meters. He reported seeing the bear sitting beside a garbage station around 20:00; police searched the area but found no traces, and have heightened vigilance because elementary and junior high schools are nearby.
