On November 6 an Asian black bear (tsukinowaguma) dropping was found in the Kenmin Green Space in front of the Yamagata Prefectural Office in Yamagata City. The prefecture closed the park restroom and warned nearby residents to avoid going out alone early in the morning or at night.
