Han Ke Yama

On the afternoon of April 9 in Shibetsu (Shibetsu? Wait actual municipality is Shimokawa—use Shimokawa?), in Shimokawa Town's Mankei area, a bear about 1 meter long was sighted in grass beside a town road at 14:50, and about 1 hour 40 minutes later at 16:30 at least one bear was sighted on a mountainside near a hot spring facility about 1 km east. Police and the town, noting the possibility it was the same individual, have increased caution and warned residents.
