On December 31 (Wednesday) around 10:39 a.m., in the Kobamine area of Agezu, Takago Town, Kitakata City, a witness (a man in his 60s) observed one bear (approximately 50 cm in body length) wandering on his home premises. Afterwards, the bear went under the informant's residence eaves and did not move. As of now, no human or property damage has been confirmed.

At about 21:10 on December 4, 2025, at a residence in Nozawa Kamijo Michikita-ko, Nishiaizu Town, Fukushima Prefecture, a man in his 70s spotted two bears (approximately 1.5 m and 1.0 m long) running on the south side of his property; the bears then ran off to the north. No damage to people or property was confirmed, and the police are coordinating with Nishiaizu Town and conducting patrols near the scene.

On November 27 at around 07:40, a man in his 30s spotted a bear approximately 0.5 meters long on a tree in Minami-no-mae Otsu, Onomoto, Nishi-Aizu Town. The bear remained in the tree and was later trapped in a box trap placed beneath it at 14:15 and captured. No damage to people or property was reported.
