At about 21:10 on December 4, 2025, at a residence in Nozawa Kamijo Michikita-ko, Nishiaizu Town, Fukushima Prefecture, a man in his 70s spotted two bears (approximately 1.5 m and 1.0 m long) running on the south side of his property; the bears then ran off to the north. No damage to people or property was confirmed, and the police are coordinating with Nishiaizu Town and conducting patrols near the scene.
