On Wednesday, June 17, at approximately 9:25 a.m., near Akadome Bridge on the Bonari Green Line in Numajiri-yama Ko area, Koyari, Inawashiro Town, a witness traveling southbound on the Bonari Green Line in a vehicle observed one bear (about 1 m in body length) crossing the road from west to east near Akadome Bridge and then leaving into the hillside forest on the east side.

Around 09:30 on April 25, 2026, four bears were sighted in Inawashiro Town, Tamayoshi Honari-otsu (near Tatsuzawa Fudo Falls); passersby observed them up in a tree. Around 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, on Route 115 in the Tsuchiyu Onsen area of Fukushima City, a witness (male in his 30s) was driving from Inawashiro Town toward Fukushima City when his vehicle struck one bear (length unknown) that entered the road from the right side (southwest) of his direction of travel. The bear then left the scene in some direction.
