On Wednesday, June 17, at approximately 9:25 a.m., near Akadome Bridge on the Bonari Green Line in Numajiri-yama Ko area, Koyari, Inawashiro Town, a witness traveling southbound on the Bonari Green Line in a vehicle observed one bear (about 1 m in body length) crossing the road from west to east near Akadome Bridge and then leaving into the hillside forest on the east side.

Around 09:30 on April 25, 2026, four bears were sighted in Inawashiro Town, Tamayoshi Honari-otsu (near Tatsuzawa Fudo Falls); passersby observed them up in a tree.
