At around 22:40 on the 12th, a bear sighting was reported near Ishin Park 3-chome in Yamaguchi City. On Prefectural Road Miyano-Otoshisen about 150 meters from Ishin Miraifu Stadium, a roughly 50 cm bear climbed from the river onto the road and ran away in the direction opposite the stadium; police are monitoring the area.

At about 22:40 on November 12, 2025, a man driving on a prefectural road in Ishin Park 3-chome, Yamaguchi City, reported seeing a roughly 50 cm bear climb up from the Kizaki River onto the road and called the police. The city inspected the site on November 13 but found no footprints or claw marks and judged it unlikely to have been a bear.
