At around 07:30 on the 19th, a woman in her 40s driving on Route 9 in Ato Tokusa-shimo, Yamaguchi City, witnessed a bear about 1 meter long crossing the road. The bear ran toward the mountains, no injuries have been reported, the site is about 450 meters from JR Yamaguchi Line Nabekura Station, police are patrolling the area and the city searched for traces but found none.
