At around 08:15 on the 7th, a single adult bear was sighted crossing the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway from north to south in Kamine, Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture. There were no road restrictions, and the prefecture warned that the Tanba population of Asian black bears lives in the area and some individuals may not hibernate at this time of year.
