Tsuchikura Yama

On Tuesday, June 16 at around 11:20 a.m., on Route 289 in the Inhira area of Minamikurazawa, Shimogō, a witness (male in his 50s) reported that while driving from Shimogō toward Nishigō Village, he saw a bear (about 1 m in length) emerge from the mountains on the left side of the road. The bear noticed the car and returned into the mountains.

Around 7:10 p.m. on June 27, on a municipal road in Shimogō Town, a bear about 1 m long crossed the road from west to east while a vehicle was passing. The bear then went into the eastern hillside forest.
