Report: After getting off at Izumi-Sotokawashi Station and exiting toward the Sotokawashi side, there was a bear in the park on the left. Its eyes were shining in the dark. Body length unknown.

[Post] I went to clean the trash area and saw something like a bear in the park at the back, got scared and ran away. It climbed over the fence toward the Leopalace side and disappeared. It had an injured leg.

Around 04:20 on May 18, a black bear about 1.2 meters long was sighted near JR Izumigaoka-Akihikawa Station in Sotoasahikawa, Akita City; it appeared to have an injured front paw. On May 17 in the same area, a bear believed to have an injured front paw entered a private property, and police responded by setting off firecrackers.
