At around 13:15 on November 16, 2025, a motorist spotted a single bear about 1 meter long crossing a local road from west to east in Teraraigawanishi, Nagata, Inawashiro Town, Fukushima. The bear then left toward the eastern woods; no injuries or property damage were reported. Police shared the information with the town and are conducting patrols and public warnings in the area.
