At around 06:40 on the 11th, a security guard spotted a bear (a cub about 70 cm long) near the No.2 gym at the Natori Campus of the Sendai National College of Technology in Natori City, Miyagi. For safety checks the Natori campus was closed for the day, and police and related agencies are continuing to monitor the area.
