On the 17th, Hiroshima City reported that on the night of the 14th a person returning home by bicycle in Kamiyasu 7-chome, Asaminami Ward, saw an animal resembling a bear enter the mountain from the road. No traces were found during the on-site survey on the 17th, but footprints of a bear were confirmed on a nearby prefectural road on the 7th of this month, so the possibility cannot be ruled out and residents are being urged to be cautious.
