While driving on the expressway, I encountered a bear cub on the road about 200 meters before Kosaka Parking Area. I slowed down and honked, and it ran into the bushes on the left. The mother bear was not seen. I reported it to the police car that was ahead.

Post: In a farm road beside the rice fields in Kosaka Town, Kosaka Aza Kakishita 37, there was one adult bear about 1 m long and two cubs about 50 cm long. The adult bear led them south along the farm road. They then entered the brush on the west side of the road, climbed the slope to observe, crossed the town road, and went into the western forest. The mother bear appeared smaller than expected for a mother-and-cubs, and this family has been sighted several times around the Sunazawa settlement this year. About 50 meters from houses.
