An adult bear was sighted in Hachinohe (Myobunshi area, about 200 m north of Kanisawa Waterworks Park) on April 28, 2026 at around 18:40. On the previous day, April 27, 2026 at about 17:00, an adult bear was also reported near an agricultural road about 400 m south of the municipal final waste disposal site in Kushibiki Iri-sawa, Hachinohe.
