At around 22:35 on November 27, 2025, a woman in her 30s spotted a bear about 1 meter long emerge from bushes onto the sidewalk of the northbound lanes of National Route 4 in Numa-no-ue, Fushigami, Fukushima City. No injuries were reported, the bear's subsequent whereabouts are unknown, and another sighting was reported around 21:45 nearby.
