At around 16:20 on December 3, 2025, a man in his 50s at home in Takebu, Noshiro City, Akita Prefecture, spotted a bear about 1 meter long climbing a persimmon tree on the property. The Noshiro Police contacted relevant agencies and are conducting patrol-car warnings around the area to alert residents.
