At around 18:27 on the 6th, a roughly 1-meter-long bear fell from a persimmon tree on the grounds of a residence in Yoshida (Muranouchi), Aizumisato Town. The bear ran off to the east; no injuries were reported, and police are warning nearby residents to be cautious.

Around 7:00 AM on October 4, in Hashimaru, Kawarada area, Aizu-Misato Town, a witness (man in his 60s) observed one bear (about 1 m long). The bear later disappeared into nearby brush, and its subsequent movements are unknown.
