Around 1:45 AM on October 21, in Kokuma? Onoza, Shimo-gō Town, while driving on Route 118 from Aizu-Wakamatsu toward Minami-Aizu, two bears (about 1 m and about 50 cm) crossed the road from west to east near the witness. The bears then ran toward the east to the river; their subsequent movements are unknown.

Around 6:45 PM on October 7, on National Route 118 in Kobukina? Onuma area, a witness driving from Minami-Aizu toward Aizu-Wakamatsu observed a bear about 1 m attempting to cross the road from east to west. The bear turned back and headed toward the eastern residential area.
