At around 06:55 on May 2, 2026, a man in his 70s working in a peach orchard at Kensho Momo no Sato in Koori Town spotted a bear about 1.5 meters long. The bear left the scene and its subsequent whereabouts are unknown; no injuries were reported. Police are patrolling the area and urging caution.
